About Profile

MOT Tester

This candidate is a fully qualified MOT Tester and Technician with extensive experience across both light vehicles and HGVs. They hold Level 3 qualifications in motor vehicle maintenance for light and heavy vehicles and are authorised to carry out MOT testing on Class 4, 5 and 7 vehicles.

They bring a very strong background from council fleet, commercial and workshop environments, with many years spent testing, inspecting and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to DVSA standards. Their experience includes quality control of repair work, taxi testing and licensing, and supporting workshop operations, including periods covering supervisory duties.

In addition to their MOT testing expertise, they have hands-on experience as an HGV Technician, fitter and Class 1 driver, giving them an excellent understanding of vehicle condition, compliance and roadworthiness from both a mechanical and operational perspective. Having recently spent time travelling, they are now available for an immediate start.
