About Profile
This candidate is a fully qualified Vehicle Technician with main dealer apprenticeship experience and a strong technical foundation across servicing, PDI work, vehicle preparation and general mechanical repairs. They hold a Swedish Automotive Mechanics qualification equivalent to NVQ Level 3 in the UK and have gained practical experience working within both main dealer and fast-fit workshop environments.
Their main dealer background includes hands-on experience with Volvo and Polestar vehicles, including routine servicing, inspections, PDI preparation and fault rectification. They have also worked with modern electric and hybrid vehicle technology, giving them a good understanding of newer vehicle systems and the direction the automotive industry is moving in.
Currently working within a fast-paced workshop environment, they carry out servicing, vehicle health checks, mechanical repairs, tyre work, wheel alignment and general fault finding across a wide range of makes and models. Their experience also includes using diagnostic systems such as VIDA and TACDIS, giving them exposure to structured diagnostic processes within a professional workshop setting.
A key strength is their positive attitude towards long-term development. They are keen to return to a main dealer environment where they can continue building their technical knowledge through manufacturer training, structured development and progression opportunities. They are looking for a role where they can settle long term and continue growing as a Vehicle Technician.
Reliable, practical and detail-focused, they would suit a dealership or workshop looking for a developing Technician with main dealer training, electric and hybrid awareness and a strong work ethic.
