Business/Transaction Manager – Stockport
Salary: £31,750 Basic / £78,000 OTE
Hours: Monday – Friday | 1-in-2 Saturdays

Key Requirements:
Proven experience as a Business Manager or in a senior automotive sales role
Main dealer automotive retail experience
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of finance and insurance products
Good FCA awareness and a strong understanding of compliance requirements
Proven ability to influence, support and develop a sales team
Stable career history within the automotive industry
Full UK driving licence
The Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Used Car Sales Business Manager to join a prestige main dealer in Stockport. You will play a key role in supporting the used car sales operation, maximising finance and insurance opportunities while ensuring customers receive a professional and compliant sales experience.
Working closely with the Sales Manager and Sales Executives, you’ll support the team throughout the sales process, structure finance proposals and help maximise profitability across each transaction. You will ensure all finance and insurance activity is completed in line with FCA requirements while maintaining a strong focus on customer outcomes and dealership standards.
You will also coach and develop the sales team, monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve finance penetration, profitability and overall sales results. With a £78,000 OTE, company car and excellent benefits, this role offers strong earning potential and long-term career progression within a prestige automotive environment.
