About the Role
HGV Technician – Blackburn
Salary: £44,000 - £53,000
Hours: Day shift – 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 06:30 – 15:00, rotating weekly to 10:00 – 18:30
Optional half-day Saturday mornings paid at time and a half
Location: Blackburn

Key Requirements:
Qualified HGV Technician or equivalent (NVQ Level 3 or similar)
Experience working on heavy goods vehicles within the motor trade
Strong diagnostic and repair skills with attention to detail
Full UK driving licence (HGV licence preferred but not essential)
Ability to work independently while maintaining high workshop standards
The Role:
This is a great opportunity for an experienced HGV Technician to join a respected commercial vehicle dealership in Blackburn. You’ll be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, inspections, and mechanical repairs to a high standard across a range of HGVs.
Working within a modern and well-equipped workshop, you’ll perform diagnostic work using manufacturer-approved tools and ensure all repairs meet safety and reliability standards. You’ll also maintain accurate service records, follow company procedures, and contribute to a positive, professional team environment.
