About the Role
HGV Technician – Blackburn
Salary: £55,000 - £63,500
Hours: Night shift – 46 hours per week. Monday to Thursday 19:00 – 07:00, rotating every two weeks to Tuesday to Friday 19:00 – 07:00
Location: Blackburn

Key Requirements:
Qualified HGV Technician or equivalent (NVQ Level 3 or similar)
Experience working on heavy goods vehicles within the motor trade
Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and electrical skills
Full UK driving licence (HGV licence preferred but not essential)
Ability to work independently and maintain high workshop standards
The Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV Technician to join a respected commercial vehicle dealership in Blackburn on a permanent nightshift basis. You’ll be responsible for carrying out maintenance, repairs, and inspections on a wide range of HGVs during night hours, ensuring all work meets manufacturer and safety standards.
Working within a modern, well-equipped workshop, you’ll perform diagnostic and fault-finding tasks efficiently while maintaining accurate job records and service documentation. You’ll also benefit from ongoing manufacturer training, ensuring your skills remain up to date with the latest vehicle technology.
