This candidate is a highly experienced automotive Sales Manager with an extensive background across new and used car operations, business management and senior sales leadership within high-volume dealership environments. Their career spans more than 20 years within the motor trade, progressing from Sales Executive level into senior management positions across both prestige and volume automotive businesses.
Currently operating within a Sales Manager role, they are responsible for leading a large dealership sales team while overseeing daily sales performance, coaching, F&I activity and customer journey management. Their experience includes second-facing deals, managing sales order books, supporting part exchange processes and driving additional product penetration across the showroom operation.
A major strength is their proven ability to improve underperforming departments and build high-performing sales teams. Throughout their career they have consistently delivered strong growth across sales volume, finance performance and profitability through structured sales coaching, staff development and process implementation. Their leadership style focuses heavily on accountability, motivation and continuous improvement.
They are highly experienced within both new and used car operations, including stock management, forecasting, customer retention and developing marketing strategies to increase sales performance and improve customer experience. Their background also includes senior leadership positions overseeing multi-site sales operations and implementing sales process improvements across large automotive retail businesses.
Commercially driven and highly people-focused, they also bring excellent knowledge of FCA compliance, warranty processes, customer finance and dealership operational standards. Their strong communication skills and natural leadership ability have helped them build and mentor successful sales teams throughout their career.
