SMART Repair

This candidate is an experienced SMART Repair Technician with a strong background in cosmetic vehicle repair, paint spraying and bodyshop preparation within fast-paced automotive environments. Their experience combines excellent paint repair knowledge with hands-on expertise across SMART repair, refinishing and cosmetic refurbishment work within both dealership and production-based operations.

Currently working within a premium automotive environment, they are responsible for repairing and refinishing vehicles to a high cosmetic standard, carrying out preparation, paint mixing, spraying, polishing and finishing work while maintaining strict quality standards throughout the repair process.

A major strength is their practical hands-on experience across all stages of SMART repair and paint refinement. Their background includes sanding damaged areas, applying primers and fillers, masking vehicles correctly and baking painted areas before final polishing and finishing. They are also highly experienced in paint preparation and colour processing, including mixing and weighing paint and hardeners accurately using paint systems and scales.

Alongside dealership SMART repair work, they have also gained valuable experience within manufacturing and production environments, carrying out bumper and tailgate repairs for major automotive brands while working to strict deadlines and quality standards. Their ability to work efficiently within high-volume environments demonstrates strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.

They also bring additional cosmetic repair experience across plastics, trims and interior surfaces, with previous roles involving repairs to scratches, dents, chips and damaged materials using a variety of repair and refinishing techniques.
