HGV Technician (Nights) – Blackburn

Salary: £57,900 per annum (£24.22 per hour)
Hours: Monday – Thursday 19:00 – 07:00 & Tuesday – Friday 19:00 – 07:00 (rotating every 2 weeks)
Client: Commercial Main Dealer
Location: Blackburn

Key Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
Minimum 2 years’ experience working on HGVs
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills on commercial vehicles
Ability to work efficiently within a night shift environment
Full UK driving licence

The Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV Technician to join a commercial main dealer in Blackburn. You will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on heavy goods vehicles, ensuring all work is completed safely and to manufacturer and industry standards.

Working within a modern commercial workshop, you’ll complete diagnostic checks, identify faults and carry out repairs efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime. With ongoing training, including HGV and PSV driver training, and a structured night shift rotation, this role offers strong earning potential and long-term career development within the motor trade.
