HGV Mechanic
MINIMUM £40,000 basic salary
Monday to Friday, flexible hours to suit
Location - Leeds

Key requirements
• Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance qualification
• Newly qualified HGV Mechanics welcome to apply, including those completing a Level 3 apprenticeship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a busy workshop team
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• A proactive, positive attitude with pride in producing high-quality work
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
• Full UK driving licence

The role
• Carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance to a high standard
• Preparing vehicles and trailers to MOT standard
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment
• Repairing or replacing defective components efficiently and safely
• Completing inspections and following workshop checklists and procedures
• Ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and on time
• Working closely with the Group Fleet Manager and wider workshop team
