Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic team in the Caribbean. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in the use of both power and hand tools. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.

Duties

• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any issues or necessary repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake checks, and tyre rotations.
• Utilise diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot vehicle problems effectively.
• Repair or replace faulty components including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed on vehicles.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations while working in the workshop environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair various vehicle systems.
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A valid driving licence is required; additional qualifications or certifications in automotive technology are advantageous.
• Clean Criminal record
