Key Requirements:
Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a Workshop Controller
Previous experience within a main dealer is essential
Proven ability to manage workshop performance and productivity
Stable career history within the automotive industry
Strong leadership, planning and organisational skills
Full UK driving licence
The Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Workshop Controller to join a prestige main dealer in Stockport. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the workshop, ensuring work is allocated effectively and completed to the required manufacturer and dealership standards.
Working closely with the service team and technicians, you’ll manage workshop loading, monitor productivity and efficiency, and help ensure agreed completion times are achieved. You will also support technician performance, maintain strong communication between the workshop and service reception, and help drive overall departmental profitability.
With a strong basic salary, £49,000 OTE, Monday to Friday working and excellent company benefits, this role offers long-term stability and career progression within a professional prestige dealership environment.
