Workshop Controller (Commercial Vehicle) – Manchester
Salary: £51,467 Basic + Bonus
Hours: 4 on 4 off day shift pattern, 6:00am – 6:00pm

Key Requirements:
Previous commercial vehicle management experience
Commercial main dealer experience is essential
Proven ability to manage workshop performance and productivity
Strong leadership and people management skills
Stable career history within the automotive industry
Full UK driving licence
The Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Workshop Controller to join a commercial main dealer in Manchester. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the workshop, ensuring work is allocated effectively and completed to the required manufacturer and dealership standards.
Working closely with technicians, service advisors and the wider management team, you’ll manage workshop loading, monitor productivity and efficiency, and ensure commercial vehicles are repaired and maintained within agreed timescales. You will also play a key role in driving workshop performance, supporting technician development and maintaining high standards of customer service.
With a strong basic salary, bonus potential and a structured 4 on 4 off day shift pattern, this role offers excellent long-term stability and career progression within the commercial motor trade.
