Estimator / VDA

This candidate is a motivated and technically minded Estimator / VDA with hands-on accident repair experience and more than five years working with Audatex systems within the automotive insurance and repair sector. Their background combines estimating knowledge with practical bodyshop experience, giving them a strong understanding of vehicle repairs and repair progression processes.

Currently working within an in-house engineering and estimating role, they are responsible for reviewing repair estimates, authorising repairs and liaising directly with repairers and clients to ensure accurate and efficient repair approvals. Their experience includes handling amendments, managing estimate queries and supporting repair progression while maintaining strong attention to detail and customer service standards.

Before moving into estimating, they gained practical experience within bodyshop and automotive repair environments, including paint spraying, vehicle preparation and automotive wrapping. This hands-on background gives them valuable technical understanding when reviewing repairs and assessing vehicle damage.

A major strength is their willingness to learn and continue developing within the accident repair industry. Reliable, hardworking and highly approachable, they come across very well and are keen to return fully into the bodyshop and accident repair centre side of the industry where they can continue progressing their VDA career.
