Estimator / VDA

This candidate is a highly experienced ATA Accredited Vehicle Damage Assessor with more than 25 years working across the motor trade, accident repair and automotive engineering sectors. Their background combines extensive estimating expertise with consultancy-level engineering experience, giving them exceptional technical knowledge and strong understanding of repair methodology, insurer processes and customer service.

They have worked within both franchised main dealer and independent accident repair environments, progressing from workshop-level positions into senior estimating and engineering roles. Over the last decade, they have specialised within consultancy and inspection services, carrying out nationwide engineering inspections, post-repair assessments, fraud investigations and vehicle valuation reporting.

A major strength is their extensive technical and estimating systems knowledge. They are fully conversant with Audatex, Glassmatix, Escribe and Inter-est systems and are highly experienced producing accurate estimates, negotiating with insurers and supporting repair progression across a wide range of vehicle types.

Alongside their technical ability, they are also highly customer-focused and professional in their approach. Their experience includes dealing directly with customers, insurers, engineers and workshop teams while maintaining strong communication and excellent attention to detail. Previous management experience within accident repair centres has also strengthened their leadership, staff coordination and workflow management skills.
