About Profile

This candidate is a highly experienced automotive Management Accountant with more than 20 years working within motor trade finance across large dealership groups and multi-site operations. Their background includes dealership accounting, market area group accounting and automotive consultancy roles, giving them extensive knowledge of both the financial and operational sides of the automotive industry.

They have managed financial operations across multiple dealership sites covering new and used vehicle sales, service, parts and bodyshop departments. Their experience includes profit optimisation, balance sheet reviews, management reporting, centralised banking functions and leading large-scale accounts processing operations across dealership groups.

Commercially aware and highly organised, they have worked closely with senior leadership teams and market area directors to improve operational performance, implement best practice and support profitability across high-turnover automotive businesses. They have also played key roles during dealership acquisitions, restructuring projects and large operational transitions, including flagship dealership relocations and DMS system implementation projects.

Alongside strong accounting ability, they also bring leadership and team management experience, having overseen accounts teams and supported multiple dealership operations simultaneously. Their background within automotive consultancy and business intelligence has further strengthened their analytical and reporting capabilities across both UK and European automotive operations.

Professional, adaptable and highly knowledgeable within the motor trade, they are now looking for a new long-term opportunity following redundancy and would be available to start from early October.
