About Profile

This candidate is a highly experienced MET Technician with more than 20 years working within accident repair, bodyshop and paint environments across the automotive sector. Their background combines strong strip and refit expertise with body repair, paint and diagnostic experience, giving them excellent all-round capability within fast-paced accident repair environments.

Currently working within a busy accident repair centre, they carry out a wide variety of MET duties including assessing accident damage, stripping and refitting components, replacing damaged panels and diagnosing electrical faults. They are also experienced in vehicle preparation, paint processes and quality control, making them highly adaptable across different areas of bodyshop operations.

A major strength is their broad technical background. They hold IMI Senior Panel Technician accreditation alongside City & Guilds body repair qualifications and have worked on a wide range of vehicle types including prestige vehicles, commercial vehicles, taxis and family cars. Their experience also includes hybrid vehicle certification and fire safety responsibilities within accident repair operations.

Highly organised and detail-focused, they are experienced working under pressure while maintaining high-quality repair standards and meeting workshop deadlines. They are also confident using diagnostic equipment, supporting workshop workflow and ensuring all repairs are completed in line with industry and health and safety standards.
