About Profile

This candidate is a highly experienced and IMI-accredited Senior Paint Technician with more than 20 years working within automotive accident repair, prestige vehicle refinishing and bodyshop management environments. Their background combines exceptional refinishing expertise with leadership experience across premium and high-performance automotive repair operations.

They are fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Paint Technology and have extensive experience working with modern water-based paint systems, advanced colour matching techniques and insurance-approved repair standards. Their experience spans both hands-on refinishing and senior bodyshop operations, including managing workloads, mentoring junior staff and supporting insurance repair processes.

A major strength is their expertise within prestige and performance vehicle refinishing. They have worked extensively on high-end vehicles requiring exceptionally high standards of paintwork, colour accuracy and finish quality. Their knowledge includes advanced blending techniques, camera-assisted colour matching, aluminium repair processes and classic vehicle restoration.

Alongside refinishing expertise, they also bring strong operational knowledge from previous Bodyshop Manager and VDA responsibilities. Their experience includes BSI 10125 implementation, insurance estimate assessment, Audatex systems, supplier management and communication with insurers, engineers and accident management companies.

Professional, technically outstanding and highly respected within the automotive refinishing sector, they are now looking for a long-term Paint Sprayer opportunity where they can continue delivering high-quality work within a progressive accident repair environment.
