About Profile

This candidate is a highly skilled Paint Technician and Vehicle Painter with more than 9 years’ experience within automotive refinishing and accident repair environments, including experience working within the UK automotive repair sector. Their background combines strong technical refinishing ability with excellent attention to detail and a consistent focus on delivering high-quality finishes to manufacturer and insurance standards.

They are City & Guilds Level 3 qualified and Red Seal certified, with extensive experience carrying out full preparation, paint and polish work across both prestige and volume vehicles. Their day-to-day responsibilities have included sanding, masking, priming, colour matching, blending and final inspection work within fast-paced accident repair centres where turnaround times and quality standards are critical.

A major strength is their advanced colour matching and blending ability alongside strong knowledge of both solvent and water-based paint systems. They are confident using a variety of leading paint products and have consistently worked to high-quality standards within QC-focused workshop environments.

Health and safety awareness is also a key part of their approach, holding COSHH qualifications and maintaining excellent workshop discipline around safety, materials handling and environmental compliance. Reliable and hardworking, they are comfortable working independently or within busy team environments while maintaining strong productivity levels.

Professional, adaptable and keen to continue progressing within the automotive accident repair industry, they are now looking for a long-term Paint Sprayer opportunity within a progressive bodyshop environment.
