About Profile

This candidate is a highly experienced Parts Manager with more than 20 years working within main dealer and bodyshop parts operations across the automotive sector. Their background combines strong leadership ability with excellent stock control, process improvement and commercial management experience within high-performing dealership environments.

Having progressed through supervisory and management positions throughout their career, they have extensive experience overseeing the day-to-day running of automotive parts departments including workshop support, stock management, invoice verification, WIP control and supplier coordination. They are highly organised and confident managing both retail and workshop parts operations within fast-paced dealership environments.

A major strength is their ability to improve operational performance and profitability. Throughout their career they have successfully restructured departments, implemented improved stock control systems and introduced process changes that significantly reduced aged stock, improved gross profit performance and increased departmental efficiency.

They are highly experienced using multiple automotive systems including Autoline (ADP/Kerridge), ETKA, Elsa, KDMS and various manufacturer parts catalogues and DMS platforms. Their technical understanding, combined with strong commercial awareness, allows them to support both workshop productivity and customer satisfaction effectively.

Alongside operational management, they also bring strong leadership and team development experience, including staff mentoring, performance management and maintaining manufacturer standards within main dealer environments. Their career includes overseeing large stock holdings, managing sizeable teams and supporting eCommerce growth initiatives that delivered substantial increases in parts sales performance.

Professional, commercially minded and highly motivated, they are now looking for a long-term Parts Manager opportunity within a progressive automotive business where they can continue improving operational standards and department profitability.
