About Profile

This candidate is a highly experienced Parts Manager with more than 20 years working within main dealer and commercial vehicle parts operations across the automotive sector. Their background combines strong leadership ability with extensive knowledge of parts sales, warehousing, stock control and aftersales support within high-volume dealership environments.

Currently operating within a senior Parts Management role, they are responsible for managing multi-site parts operations while overseeing a team of employees across busy automotive departments. Their experience includes monitoring department performance, improving stock control processes and reporting directly to senior management on department profitability and operational performance.

A major strength is their commercial awareness and ability to improve department efficiency. Throughout their career they have successfully reduced obsolete and dead stock levels, improved first-time pick rates and consistently delivered strong annual turnover figures within both prestige and commercial vehicle environments.

They are also highly experienced managing both trade and retail parts supply while working closely with workshop departments and key fleet customers to minimise downtime and maximise customer satisfaction. Their technical understanding and strong system knowledge includes extensive experience using Kerridge/ADP alongside multiple manufacturer and stock management platforms.
