About Profile
This candidate is a fully qualified Level 3 Vehicle Technician with extensive experience across both light vehicles and commercial fleets. With over 10 years in the automotive sector, they have built strong technical knowledge covering diagnostics, servicing, MOT inspection and complex mechanical repairs within fast-paced workshop environments.
They are Level 3 qualified in Electric Vehicles and hold MOT Inspector licences for Class IV and VII vehicles, giving them a broad skillset across both passenger and commercial applications. Their current position includes responsibility for MOT site management, ensuring compliance standards, calibration checks and DVSA procedures are maintained correctly across the workshop.
Technically, they are experienced in diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, engine rebuilds, preventative maintenance and repair work across cars, vans and trucks. They are confident using diagnostic equipment and tablet-based workshop systems while maintaining accurate records and ensuring repairs are completed to manufacturer standards.
Alongside their technical ability, they are known for supporting apprentices and junior technicians, helping maintain safe working practices and workshop standards. With redundancy affecting their current position, they are now looking for a stable long-term opportunity closer to home where they can continue developing within the industry.
