About Profile

This candidate is a fully qualified Level 3 Vehicle Technician and qualified MOT Tester with more than 20 years of hands-on experience across main dealer, fleet and independent workshop environments. Their background includes servicing, diagnostics, MOT preparation and repair work across both light and commercial vehicles.

Most recently, they have successfully operated their own workshop business, managing daily garage operations while carrying out diagnostics, servicing, repairs and MOT testing across Class 3, 4, 5 and 7 vehicles. This has given them strong organisational skills alongside excellent customer service and workshop management experience.

Technically, they are confident with diagnostics, fault finding and general mechanical repairs, including MOT preparation and breakdown work. Previous experience within a main dealer environment has also given them a solid understanding of manufacturer standards, workshop efficiency and customer expectations.

With rising operating costs impacting their current self-employed setup, they are now looking to return to a stable permanent role within a professional workshop environment where they can focus on technical work and continue building long-term stability.
