About Profile

MET Technician - ATA

This candidate is a highly experienced ATA-qualified MET Technician with close to two decades working primarily within prestige and performance vehicle bodyshop environments. They bring extensive hands-on experience stripping and refitting a wide range of vehicles in preparation for body and paint departments, with particular strength across premium marques.

They are technically confident across mechanical, electrical and trim components, and are comfortable diagnosing and rectifying faults including electrical issues, HVAC systems, hydraulics, brake system faults, water leaks and structural body damage. Their experience includes using manufacturer systems such as TIS, alongside a range of electronic diagnostic tools and multi-meters to investigate faults and determine the correct course of repair.

Accustomed to working in high-pressure environments, they manage workload effectively to meet both individual efficiency targets and wider team KPIs. They are proactive, safety-conscious and used to making informed decisions independently while supporting overall workshop throughput and customer expectations.
