Diagnostic Technician & MOT Tester
This candidate is a highly experienced Diagnostic Technician and qualified MOT Tester with a strong main dealer background and extensive hands-on technical expertise. They are fully Level 3 qualified and bring solid experience across diagnostics, mechanical repairs and MOT testing, with additional Electric and Hybrid training to IMI Levels 2 and 3.
They are confident working with modern diagnostic tools and software, accurately identifying faults and completing repairs to a high standard while working to deadlines. Alongside their technical capability, they have experience supporting workshop operations and team performance, bringing a structured, organised approach to daily workload management.
EV-trained and IT-literate, this candidate is comfortable working with evolving vehicle technology and manufacturer processes. They are reliable, detail-focused and take pride in delivering consistent quality, whether carrying out diagnostics, MOT testing or supporting workshop efficiency.
Key Experience & Strengths
Fully Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician
Qualified MOT Tester (Class 4 and 7)
Main dealer trained Electric and Hybrid Diagnostic Technician
IMI Level 2 and Level 3 EV qualified
Advanced diagnostic, mechanical and fault-finding capability
MOT testing and compliance experience
Workshop support and team leadership exposure
Confident using diagnostic tools and software
Organised, reliable and deadline-driven
Full UK driving licence with own transport
